The Beatles (John Lennon)

John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England in the 1940's he was a smart peaceful man who was first in a band called The Quarry Men also known as the Black jacks. John Lennon's career starts in 1957 with the Quarry men.Then Paul McCartney met John in 1957, when John was performing with his other band. There he decided to make a band with Paul. Then they met the other band players and called themselves The Beatles.

The band and John wrote about peace , harmony and there lives. This man lived a hard and sad life because his dad was never home and he was absent during Johns life. His mom was never with him so Johns sister Mimi and her husband decided to take care of him until they died in a car accident. That is why I think he wrote the song called Mother.

Though his life was rough he succeeded and became famous. One of his best songs were Imagine, and there are others like Julia. Imagine became an international peace song. The Beatles sang pop music which turned out okay for them. John Lennon also had an impact in art because in 01/12/1970 he joined an art gallery in London.

The members of The Beatles band are John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey). They had a manager who was named Brian Epstein. At first there drummer was Pete but then they made Ringo the permanent drummer. Then Stuart Sutcliffe left the band and that made Paul have to cange from guitar player to bass player.

The Beatles had a great band until to much pressure came and they made Beatlemania. Beatlemania is a web site that they made that talks about there embarrassing moments and all there lives. Beatlemania also wrote about rumors and lies about them. Check out my link to Beatlemania.They made a couple of other albums but then one day McCartney got tired of dealing with the band and fans and so he announced that The Beatles had broke up. The Beatles broke up on April 10, 1970, after that each member took there own path some became solos and/or band leaders.

John was killed by a fan in 1980. George died of cancer in 2001. Every thing turned kind of sad when they made the dissision to break up. I wonder if they would have lived if they were all still together in the band. Maybe that fan that killed John was mad at the fact that The Beatles had split up.
