Imagine the world in peace, I've imagined it and a song that connects to the world in that way is, Imagine, by John Lennon (The Beatles). It connects to it because he (John Lennon) hopes that others think of the world in a peaceful way without war.



This song also relates to me because I always imagine that everyone in the world shares the world. This part of the song inspires me to imagine the world sharing even more,"Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brother hood of man Imagine all the people Sharing the world..."



This song has to do with the life of the artist because he wrote in his lyrics, "You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one."
I think that the time that this song was written war was going on and so thats why in a part of his lyrics he wrote, "Imagine theres no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace..."



The novel Small Steps also relates to this song Imagine because Armpit/Theodore always probably imagines himself with Kaira Deleon. Ginny imagines what it would be like with her dad around in the house. X-ray imagines what it would be like to be rich and famous like Kaira. Kaira imagines herself being eight teen and getting to fire the crazy El Genius. I also think that Kaira wants to fire Aileen and her jealous back up singers. The part of the song that says, "Imagine theres no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today." It means that what ever El Genius does will make him go to hell and maybe Kaira doesn't want that for him. She wants to give him another chance, same as Doofus/Fred.

This song Imagine is talking about the world and how our society in it is not spreading peace with all the war thats going on. John Lennon is trying to convince the people to Imagine every thing peaceful and every body sharing so that the world "will live as one".

Some times I do wonder what the world would be like if John Lennon's song Imagine was/were able to come true. I think that the world would be better because it would not have pollution or Global Warming, without those bombs and war it would be better for the process of humans.

This artist John Lennon and his song Imagine made me think alot. Actually this project made me think alot because I use to listen to the music and not care about what the lyrics meant or said but now I know that if you close attention to a song it will tell information about the artist and what he thinks. Thats all I can say about this song Imagine.
